Rosemarie Iaconis

Rosemarie began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Rackets Bureau of the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, where she investigated and prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases involving primarily organized crime, including human trafficking, official corruption, excessive use of force by law enforcement, illegal gambling, assault, and narcotics. As a prosecutor, Rosemarie tried numerous cases to verdict, attaining an impeccable trial record.

Following her tenure as an Assistant District Attorney, Rosemarie joined a prominent Long Island law firm, where she practiced commercial litigation, professional liability, general liability, and title insurance litigation. There, she represented architects, engineers, and related design professionals in a variety of matters, including claims involving labor law, personal injury, property damage, construction defect, and delay.

Rosemarie handles commercial litigation, including business disputes, breach of contract actions, fraud claims, commercial and residential real estate claims, and fee disputes. Additionally, she has experience litigating ERISA claims in Federal Court.

Rosemarie received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Barnard College, Columbia University, in 2003, and her Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law in 2006. She is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Rosemarie serves on the Board of Directors of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Queens County and is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association.  She is fluent in Italian.
